So I tried quill pens, and I'm very pleased with the results of those. After going to the art store, I wound up grabbing some brushes. one 0.0 brush and a larger one for watercolors. Taking those two brushes I set out to try inking with a brush to see if I could accomplish that. and well you tell me. I like what I have and I was even able to do a bit of inkwash over top of these.
This really proves that I seriously need to stop doubting myself and just do.
